Maybe the writers could surprise us and are planning to have him come out as AroAce, but I don't really think that's likely. Now, though, in an interview with Variety, Schnapp not only confirmed that Will is gay, bu that he is definitely in love with Mike. I really felt like I could relate to him in moments in season 3 where he was frustrated over the amount of drama and energy put into romantic relationships when he just wanted to have fun with his friends.
